8/20/08 Women's Basketball Releases Nonconference Slate
The University of Louisville's 2008-09 women's basketball non conference schedule will once again prepare the Cardinals for the tough BIG EAST slate. 8/19/08 McCoughtry Named to Wade Trophy Watch List
The Women's Basketball Coaches Association, on behalf of the Wade Coalition, announced the 2008-09 preseason "Wade Watch" list for the State Farm Wade Trophy Division I Player of the Year Tuesday. Louisville senior Angel McCoughtry headlines the 25-member list which is made up of top Division I student-athletes who best embody the spirit of Lily Margaret Wade according to the following criteria: game and season statistics, leadership, character, effect on their team and overall playing ability. 8/12/08 Women's Baskeball Ranks in the Top 12 in Attendance
The University of Louisville women's basketball team was ranked in the Top 15 in the nation in average attendance for the first time in school history. The Cardinals ranked 12th in the country among all NCAA Division I schools in 2007-08, averaging 6,456 fans at 12 home contests. READ MORE
