John Penny
General Manager NSM / Louisville Sports Marketing
John Penny joined the Nelligan Sports Marketing staff after five years with the National Football Foundation where he successfully led marketing and fundraising efforts for the Foundation's national programs. He also developed and implemented a comprehensive marketing plan for the NFF's College Football Hall of Fame.
Penny's experience includes more than 10 years in college athletic administration, having held numerous positions in sales and marketing, and heading the external affairs unit for a Division I-A program.
He holds a B.A. in communications from Augustana College and an M.S. in sports administration from Western Illinois University.
A Chicago-area native, Penny and his wife, Colleen, live in Louisville with sons P.J., Christopher and Robbie and daughter Peytin.
